Parents' Perspective

To Whom it May Concern:

In October of 2004, I was in need of a daycare provider for a particular day because my private daycare provider, at that time, needed to take a day off. So I would not be completely inconvenienced, the daycare provider suggested I contact AJoyful Noise Learning Center to see if they could care for my two young children who at that time were 3 and 4 1/2 years of age. At the daycare provider's recommendation I called and I'm glad I did!

Upon visiting A Joyful Noise Learning Center, I immediately witnessed happy children nestled in a warm safe, loving and secure environment; under the watchful guidance of abundantly patient, gentle teachers. .These elements are particularly important to me as I was once a stay-at -home mother and relinquishing my children to someone else's care was difficult. Sharon Trueworthy, the director at the time, welcomed my children with open arms. As a result of feeling her sincereity, my children had absolutely no hesitancy in staying for the day. In November of that same year I needed the Center to care for my children and again they received the same reception! In January 2005, my daycare provider moved and because of the positive experience, I enrolled my children permanently in Joyful Noise Learning Center' preschool program.

Along with being a child friendly environment, the curriculums a significant component of A Joyful Noise Learning Center's overall scope. Since my children's enrollment they have benefited greatly. To say the least, they are very smart! This is greatly due to the Learning Center's childcare training, attentiveness, and positive impact. I was sad to see Sharon Trueworthy leave as the school's director and at first I had some normal concerns. But Elaini Dedascalou, the Learning Center's current Director, stepped in with her years of expertise and didn't miss a beat! in fact she "stepped up the pace"! My children absolutely adore Elaini and simply love being in her company. One would think they were her children! In fact Elaini is Mom to all of the children! I am completely awed at Elaini's dedication, fortitude, and genuine concern for EACH child enrolled in the preschool program. When it comes to the children, everything is done with them in mind mind-the learning tools and toys purchased,food supplied,building improvements and preschool instructors- all presented with the children in mind.

On February 27, 2006 I started a new job in Concord, California. Because it would have been logistically impossible for me to reach my children in a timely manner if a need arose, I had no other alternative but to move them near my place of employment.

For weeks my children missed a Joyful Noise Learning Center! My oldest child, in particular, did not like the transition and I thought she'd never adapt to her new environment. It has been six months since their departure from the Center and my kids are just now beginning to settle in.

Dear Elaini,

Words cannot express how I feel about this school. My four children have always been enrolled in Christian preschools. (For the past 13 years) I have to say God truly blessed us to find you.

We have had some difficult times over the past couple of years and to know that you not only cared about what we were going through but the teachers also responded to each one of my children with compassion, patience and so much love!

The communication is excellent, and the quality of all the teachers is incomparable.
I have given rave reviews to Davis Street Community Center and I would have all of my friends and family members children go here if they could. I feel honored to be one of your first enrollments and have been highly impressed with the changes to the program facility itself. You truly pay attention to each individual child and their abilities. I was very impressed with the graduation ceremony of the pre-kindergarteners,and the evaluations(assessments) that were completed. I could go on for hours, but I just want you to know how much this school has meant to us and how I wish you could open a center in Las Vegas, where we are moving!

Please continue in your good works and know that God has truly sent you here for a purpose.

As a new parent I was torn about going back to work and having to leave my daughter in the care of someone else. I was so thankful that the Lord led my husband and me to Joyful Noise Learning Center. Upon first speaking with Miss Elaini, I felt welcome and was pleased that she answered my questions thoughtfully and with compassion. I was able to go meet with the teachers in the infant room before making my decision and was comforted to meet such a warm loving, and experienced staff. I felt a special connection with Miss Kavisha, who herself had a son under one year old at the time, and I knew she would not only understand what I was going through in going back to work but also would know well how to care for my infant daughter.

Since my daughter has attended Joyful Noise I have seen her grow in such wonderful ways! She loves her friends at school and I have noticed her development progress quickly due to her exposure to children who are slightly older than she is. She sees them doing things that she wants to do and that helps give her the confidence to try them herself ! Her language development, gross and fine motor skills ,and social development have all been positively influenced by her time at Joyful Noise.

The environment at the school is at once loving, caring,educational, and stimulating.The staff are experienced, compassionate and loving individuals who also work well together as a team to care for the children. Anytime my daughter has shown signs of illness the staff calls me immediately and informs me of the situation. Anytime I have a concern or see a need my daughter needs filled, all I need to do is mention it and it is taken care of ! The staff has even helped me to see when my daughter was ready to move on to more solid food or other developmental milestones they have have seen her working toward.

As hard as it is to leave my daughter each day, I am so pleased and relieved to have found her a second home in Joyful Noise Learning Center! I know the Lord has blessed our family with a safe and nurturing chuld care facility where she is able to grow,learn, play and be loved!

Dear Ms. Elaini/AJoyful Noise Learning Center Teachers:

I am writing to you to express our gratitude to you and your staff because you were GOD sent!! About a year ago, our in home daycare providers notified my husband and I that the need to relocate was effective immediately due to some unforseen financial circumstances. At that point we felt devastated because it felt like we just found a loving and nurturing environment for our daughter. As parents we immediately started praying asking the Lord to give us the guidance to find another center where we know our daughter was safe and most of all loved!

After weeks of searching, I felt the Holy Spirit led me to a Joyful Noise through the Four Seas agency of Alameda County. At this point all I could think deep down inside is LORD if this is your will for our daughter then show us some sign that this is your work. Indeed after having met Ms. Elaini and her staff I was overwhelmed with how impressed she made me feel right at home once entering A Joyful Noise Learning Center. Not only did Ms.Elaini welcome me with open arms she accomodated my busy work schedule. My husband Jr and I are wonderfully blessed with having found these dedicated teachers to teach and love our children unconditionally. Since enrollment of our daughter her cognitive skills have developed tremendously including learning the alphabet, numbers,colors,shapes and most importantly learning the WORD OF GOD!!!

I just want to thank God for giving my son a school to enjoy with A Joyful Noise. He has learned a lot of things and had fun as well. This is his last day and as parents we will miss this school. Moving to a different school will be different but I velieve he will take what he has learned especially knowing about Jesus. He always mentioned Him wherever he goes since he learned it in school. I thank the staff especially the teacher Miss Ana, Miss Krishna and the crew that made a big impact in my son's life.
